TIME revealed the fifth-annual TIME100 Most Influential Companies list, highlighting companies making an extraordinary impact around the world, including G42, which was recognized in the “Innovators” category as a “Rising AI Power” for its groundbreaking contributions to the future of AI.
The company was primarily featured for spearheading the largest AI infrastructure project outside the U.S. Unveiled in May alongside President Trump and UAE officials, G42’s 10-square-mile AI campus in Abu Dhabi, developed in partnership with U.S. firms including Microsoft and OpenAI, will host supercomputers, a science park, and drive the UAE’s vision to become an AI superpower by 2031.
Speaking to TIME, Faheem Ahamed, Group Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at G42, noted that G42’s selection reflects its growing global influence, with giga-scale projects underway in Europe, Kenya, and the U.S., and a collaborative model that positions the company at the center of global AI infrastructure development.
To assemble the list, TIME solicited nominations across sectors, and polled its global network of contributors and correspondents, as well as outside experts. Then TIME editors evaluated each on key factors, including impact, innovation, ambition, and success. The result is a diverse group of 105 businesses helping chart an essential path forward.
